一、活動重點及目的:

本進階課程幫助學員更進一步強化英文學術寫作技巧,提升論文撰寫的邏輯性與專業度,讓你在實戰中更有信心。

This advanced course is designed to help participants further strengthen their academic English writing skills, enhancing both the logic and professionalism of their papers, and enabling them to write with greater confidence in practice.

二、活動特色及執行情形:

這幾堂課循序漸進地帶領學生進入學術英文寫作,從介紹academic style、精準用詞、減少使用「people」等模糊表達開始,搭配學習單進行練習。接著探討常見字根字首,並深入教學paraphrasing與summarising的差異及運用,進行主詞、動詞、名詞、副詞的句型練習,開始段落性書寫訓練。課程後續聚焦於改寫技巧、文法及語態,並介紹引用文獻時的寫作方式與comma splice的注意事項。最後以「漢堡法」教學,結合理論與討論活動,強化學生寫作能力。

These lessons guide students step by step into academic English writing. The course begins with an introduction to academic style, precise word choice, and strategies to avoid vague expressions such as overusing the term “people,” accompanied by practice through worksheets. Students will then explore common roots and prefixes, followed by an in-depth study of the differences and applications of paraphrasing and summarising. Exercises focus on sentence patterns involving subjects, verbs, nouns, and adverbs, gradually moving into paragraph-level writing practice. Subsequent sessions concentrate on rewriting techniques, grammar, and voice, as well as proper approaches to citation and key points to avoid comma splices. The course concludes with the “hamburger method,” combining theory with interactive activities to strengthen students’ writing proficiency.
