一、活動重點及目的：
本活動以跨文化交流及全英語互動為核心，分享美國與臺灣因文化背景、價值觀及教育理念不同，在大學生活、教育目標與學習方式等面向的差異，協助學生拓展國際視野與跨文化溝通能力。同時介紹美國大學培養跨專業合作能力與態度之方式，以及學習成效與滿意度之評估方式，鼓勵學生透過英語交流與討論，提升英語實際應用及國際溝通能力。

The activity focused on cross-cultural exchange and full-English interaction, introducing differences between the United States and Taiwan in university life, educational goals, and learning approaches arising from different cultural backgrounds, values, and educational philosophies. The activity aimed to broaden students’ international perspectives and enhance their cross-cultural communication skills. It also introduced how U.S. universities cultivate students’ abilities and attitudes toward interdisciplinary collaboration, as well as approaches to evaluating learning outcomes and student satisfaction. Through English communication and discussion, students were encouraged to enhance their practical English skills and international communication competence.

二、活動特色及執行情形：
本活動採全英語方式進行，共分為兩個主題單元，每單元約1小時，由蔡教授擔任主持人，邀請美國副教授 Pei Fang Hung 及語言治療師 Kenya Gomez Tydor 分享美國及臺灣大學教育與學習環境之文化差異。活動共計42位學生參與，並安排學生以英文與講師進行提問及交流，共有4位學生以英文參與問答，展現學生實際運用英語進行溝通與互動之能力。

The activity was conducted entirely in English and consisted of two thematic sessions, each lasting approximately one hour. Professor Tsai served as the moderator, while Associate Professor Pei Fang Hung from the United States and speech-language pathologist Kenya Gomez Tydor were invited to share insights into cultural differences between university education and learning environments in the United States and Taiwan. A total of 42 students participated in the activity. Students were also encouraged to ask questions and interact with the speakers in English, with four students actively participating in the English Q&A sessions, demonstrating their ability to use English for practical communication and interaction.
