一、活動重點及目的：

EMI中心與臺南市緊急救護協會聯合開設 BLS基本救命術訓練，專為跨文化教學與外籍互動場景設計。課程將結合臨床急救技能與英語溝通語境演練，學習如何應用英語急救對話。

The EMI Center, in collaboration with the Tainan Emergency Medical Association, jointly offered a BLS (Basic Life Support) training program designed specifically for cross-cultural teaching contexts and interactions with foreign nationals. The course integrated clinical emergency response skills with English communication scenarios, enabling participants to learn how to apply English emergency dialogue in real-life situations.

二、活動特色及執行情形：

本次急救訓練課程內容涵蓋急救基本觀念與實作操作，並特別強調在急救情境中使用英文進行指令溝通模擬。課程一開始說明急救的定義、目的及基本原則，接著介紹心肺復甦術（CPR）與自動體外心臟去顫器（AED）的重要性，並針對成人、幼兒與嬰兒進行CPR+AED實作練習。
下午課程則教授異物哽塞的處理方法、創傷止血技巧，以及包紮與骨折固定的基本應用。整體課程皆融入英文用語與口語指令練習，讓學員能在實際急救場景中，用英文表達與執行相關處置，提升臨場反應與國際應對能力。課程最後安排綜合演練與測驗，幫助學員驗收學習成果並熟練應用技巧。

The training program covered fundamental first-aid concepts and hands-on practice, with particular emphasis on using English commands and communication in emergency scenarios. The course began with an introduction to the definition, objectives, and basic principles of first aid, followed by an overview of the importance of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillators (AEDs). Participants then engaged in practical CPR and AED training for adults, children, and infants.

The afternoon session focused on the management of choking incidents, trauma bleeding control techniques, and basic applications of bandaging and fracture immobilization. Throughout the course, English terminology and spoken commands were fully incorporated into the training, enabling participants to express themselves and carry out emergency procedures in English during real emergency situations. The program concluded with a comprehensive drill and assessment, helping participants evaluate their learning outcomes and develop proficiency in applying the acquired skills.
