【EMI TA 培訓】114年12月17日 TA培訓 EMI TA TRAINING WORKSHOP

一、活動重點及目的:

本次TA培訓課程旨在強化學生於EMI課程中擔任TA的實務能力,協助學生熟悉 TA在課堂中的角色與職責。透過結合AI工具應用與情境式教學設計,培養學生在全英語教學環境中協助教師教學、支援學生學習及即時溝通解決問題的能力,進一步提升EMI課程的整體教學品質與學習成效。

This TA training course aimed to strengthen students’ practical competencies as Teaching Assistants in EMI courses and to familiarize them with the roles and responsibilities of TAs in the classroom. By integrating AI tool applications with scenario-based instructional design, the course sought to develop students’ ability to support instructors, assist student learning, and address communication challenges in real time within an English-medium teaching environment. Ultimately, the training aimed to enhance the overall teaching quality and learning outcomes of EMI courses.

二、活動特色及執行情形:

本次培訓課程以「AI 輔助教學」與「情境角色扮演」為核心。課程中,講師首先引導學生認識如何善用AI工具作為EMI課堂支援資源,協助理解教學內容、整理重點及提升英語表達能力。接著透過多元教學情境設計,讓學生兩兩分組進行角色扮演,模擬實際EMI課堂中可能遇到的問題,例如學生聽不懂課程內容、課堂互動不足或溝通困難等情況,並練習以英語進行即時應對與問題解決。
培訓過程中,學生積極參與討論與演練,並在講師即時回饋與引導下,逐步提升英語溝通信心與臨場反應能力。整體活動兼顧理論說明與實務操作,協助學生建立清楚的 TA角色認知,並強化其在EMI課程中協助教學與促進學習的專業能力。 

The training course centered on “AI-assisted instruction” and “scenario-based role-playing.” The instructor first guided students in learning how to effectively utilize AI tools as support resources in EMI classrooms to aid content comprehension, organize key points, and improve English expression. Subsequently, students were paired to engage in role-playing activities based on diverse teaching scenarios that may arise in actual EMI classes, such as students having difficulty understanding course content, limited classroom interaction, or communication challenges. Through these activities, students practiced responding to situations and solving problems in English in real time.

Throughout the training, students actively participated in discussions and simulations. With immediate feedback and guidance from the instructor, they gradually built confidence in English communication and improved their ability to respond effectively in classroom situations. The course successfully balanced theoretical instruction with hands-on practice, helping students develop a clear understanding of the TA role and strengthening their professional capacity to support teaching and promote learning in EMI courses.
