一、活動重點及目的：

本次工作坊邀請 Werner Kuhn 講師帶領課程，透過讀心術（Mind Reading）及塔羅牌（Tarot Card）等富有趣味與神秘感的主題，營造沉浸式英語學習情境，提升學生使用英語進行溝通與互動的信心。課程結合情緒與表達（Emotion & Expression）相關字彙、推論與委婉表達（Inference & Hedging Language）等語言技巧，引導學生在真實情境中練習描述、推測與表達觀點，同時認識塔羅牌Major Arcana與Minor Arcana的基本概念，培養跨文化理解與英語口語表達能力。

This workshop was led by Werner Kuhn, who created an immersive English-learning environment through engaging and mysterious themes such as mind reading and tarot cards. The workshop aimed to enhance participants' confidence in communicating and interacting in English while exploring these unique topics. The course integrated language skills related to emotion and expression vocabulary as well as inference and hedging language, enabling students to practice describing, interpreting, and expressing opinions in authentic communicative contexts. Participants were also introduced to the fundamental concepts of the Major Arcana and Minor Arcana in tarot, fostering both cross-cultural awareness and English oral communication skills

二、活動特色及執行情形：

本次工作坊以互動式教學為主軸，講師透過讀心術遊戲及塔羅牌情境活動，引發學生學習動機，並將英語學習自然融入趣味體驗中。課程中介紹塔羅牌牌義及相關英文詞彙，搭配情緒描述、人物特質分析及推論表達等練習，讓學生在不同情境下運用英語進行描述、提問及回應。活動安排分組討論與實作練習，鼓勵學生以英語分享自己的觀察、解讀與想法，提升口語互動能力及表達流暢度。整體課程兼具創意、互動性與實用性，不僅增進學生的英語溝通能力，也透過新穎的主題設計，提升學生參與課程的投入度與學習興趣。

The workshop adopted an interactive teaching approach, with the instructor engaging participants through mind-reading activities and tarot card scenarios to spark their interest and naturally integrate English learning into an enjoyable experience. Students were introduced to the meanings of tarot cards and related English vocabulary while practicing emotion description, character trait analysis, and inference-based expressions. These activities enabled participants to describe, ask questions, and respond in English across a variety of communicative contexts. The workshop also featured group discussions and hands-on activities, encouraging students to share their observations, interpretations, and ideas in English, thereby enhancing their oral interaction skills and speaking fluency. Overall, the workshop successfully combined creativity, interactivity, and practical language use, strengthening students' English communication skills while increasing their engagement and motivation through its innovative and distinctive theme.
