Let’s open the magical door to English fairy-tale picture books and discover the power of courage and healing in a world of wonder. By combining fairy tales with English learning, we will search for the warmth and bravery hidden within the stories. In this class, you will be immersed in the world of fairy tales—starting from classic stories to explore character archetypes, symbolic meanings, and the deeper metaphors behind them—uncovering the psychological healing energy that stories can bring. Through guided discussions and English practice, you will learn to use story-based thinking to face real-life challenges and bring the courage found in fairy tales into your own life.

Using the classic fairy tale Beauty and the Beast and the films Frozen and Frozen II as course materials, each lesson will highlight key vocabulary words and practical sentence patterns to deepen students’ understanding and application skills. This not only enhances their language proficiency but also encourages them to reflect on the true meaning of love and acceptance. By exploring the characters’ relationships and emotional changes throughout the stories, students are guided to connect these themes with their own life experiences through discussion and sharing. In class, special focus is placed on teaching vocabulary, common expressions, and situational language from the films, allowing students to naturally improve their English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in an engaging and inspiring way, while also developing their ability to understand and express emotions.
