【EMI教師培訓課程】114年03月14日 跨校教師EMI教學經驗分享
一、活動重點及目的:
教務處EMI中心誠摯邀請 朝陽科技大學 行銷與流通管理系 Dr. Serhan Demirci (黃德睿博士) 分享他在數位行銷和社群媒體EMI 教學中的寶貴經驗,包括課堂互動、學生參與及語言挑戰等實務策略。不論您是 EMI 教學的新手還是有經驗的教師,都能在這場講座中收穫滿滿!
The EMI Center of the Office of Academic Affairs cordially invites Dr. Serhan Demirci (Dr. Huang Derui), Associate Professor in the Department of Marketing and Distribution Management at Chaoyang University of Technology, to share his valuable experiences in digital marketing and social media EMI teaching. His presentation will cover practical strategies on classroom interaction, student engagement, and language challenges. Whether you are a novice in EMI teaching or an experienced educator, this lecture will offer insightful takeaways for all!
二、活動特色及執行情形:
本次活動以「行銷與溝通表達」為主題,探討EMI教學的本質與挑戰,強調不能只用英文授課,更需融入互動與學生參與。
課前,講師說明開設課程需具備相關證書,並強調課程設計應結合語言教學與專業內容,透過活動引導學生主動學習,而非被動接收知識。
課中,講師實際運用如「萬家香」、「金蘭醬油」與「Santa Claus」等例子,教導相關字彙與表達,並導入AI工具輔助教學,提升互動性與語言應用能力。課堂設計也涵蓋小組討論與情境練習,加強實務表達。
課後,講師建議檢視學生學習進度與回饋,進行教學反思與優化。針對學生答不出問題的情況,建議可讓學生以打字方式回應,降低壓力並促進參與。
整體課程兼顧語言、內容與互動,提供老師們實用的EMI教學策略與應用範例。
The theme of this event was "Marketing and Communication Expression," focusing on the essence and challenges of EMI teaching. It emphasized that teaching in English alone is not enough; interaction and student engagement must also be integrated.
Before the course, the instructor explained that offering such courses requires relevant certification and stressed that course design should combine language instruction with professional content. Activities should guide students to actively engage in learning, rather than passively receiving knowledge.
During the course, the instructor used practical examples such as "Wanjiaxiang," "Kinlan Soy Sauce," and "Santa Claus" to teach relevant vocabulary and expressions. AI tools were also incorporated to enhance interactivity and language application. The course design included group discussions and situational exercises to strengthen practical expression skills.
After the class, the instructor suggested reviewing student progress and feedback, followed by teaching reflection and optimization. In cases where students struggled to answer questions, the instructor recommended allowing students to type their responses, which could reduce pressure and encourage participation.
Overall, the course balanced language, content, and interaction, providing teachers with practical EMI teaching strategies and application examples.
