一、活動重點及目的：

本次講座邀請逢甲大學企業管理學系蔡汶君教授蒞校分享「EMI創新教學－玩中學、學中用：趣味課程設計」，旨在協助教師了解遊戲化學習、數位互動工具及小組合作等創新教學策略，並透過實際教學案例，探討如何提升 EMI 課程的趣味性與學生參與度。藉由分享降低學生英語學習焦慮、促進專業知識理解與實際應用的教學方法，協助教師精進 EMI 課程設計與教學實踐，進一步營造具互動性、參與感與學習成效的 EMI 教學環境，促進校內教師交流創新教學經驗，並將相關策略應用於實際課程，提升學生以英語學習專業知識的動機與成效。

This lecture invited Professor Tsai Wen-Chun from the Department of Business Administration at Feng Chia University to deliver a talk titled Innovative EMI Teaching: Learning Through Play and Applying Knowledge in Practice—Designing Engaging Courses. The lecture aimed to help faculty members understand innovative teaching strategies, including gamified learning, digital interactive tools, and group collaboration, while exploring ways to enhance the engagement and student participation in EMI courses through practical teaching examples. By sharing teaching approaches that help reduce students’ anxiety about learning in English and promote the understanding and practical application of professional knowledge, the lecture sought to support faculty members in improving EMI course design and teaching practices. It also aimed to foster a more interactive and engaging EMI learning environment, encourage the exchange of innovative teaching experiences among faculty members, and enhance students’ motivation and effectiveness in learning professional subjects in English.

二、活動特色及執行情形：

本次講座以「玩中學、學中用」為核心理念，結合趣味課程設計與創新教學實務，分享遊戲化學習、數位互動工具及小組合作等多元教學策略，並透過實際教學案例，引導教師思考如何將互動元素融入 EMI 課程，提升課堂參與度與學習動機。

活動過程中，講者針對 EMI 教學現場可能面臨的學生英語學習焦慮、課堂互動不足及專業知識應用等問題進行探討，說明如何透過多元教學活動設計，營造輕鬆且具支持性的學習環境，協助學生在參與及實作過程中理解與運用專業知識。透過本次講座，期望增進教師對創新 EMI 教學策略的認識，提供課程規劃與教學實踐之參考，進一步提升本校 EMI 課程品質與雙語教學成效。

Centered on the concept of “Learning Through Play and Applying Knowledge in Practice,” the lecture integrated engaging course design with innovative teaching practices. Professor Tsai shared a variety of teaching strategies, including gamified learning, digital interactive tools, and group collaboration. Through practical teaching examples, faculty members were encouraged to consider how interactive elements could be incorporated into EMI courses to increase classroom participation and student motivation.

During the lecture, the speaker addressed common challenges in EMI teaching, including students’ anxiety about learning in English, limited classroom interaction, and difficulties in applying professional knowledge. She explained how diverse learning activities could create a supportive and engaging learning environment, helping students understand and apply professional knowledge through active participation and hands-on practice. The lecture aimed to deepen faculty members’ understanding of innovative EMI teaching strategies and provide practical references for course planning and teaching implementation, ultimately enhancing the quality of EMI courses and the effectiveness of bilingual education at the university.
