一、活動重點及目的:
為協助提升本校教職員於全英文課程中的數位教材設計能力,本校EMI中心與中國生產力中心合作規劃並開設「Canva AI 數位教材設計」專業培訓課程,藉由結合視覺設計與人工智慧輔助工具,強化學員製作高品質全英語數位教學教材的能力,提升教學效能、學生學習興趣與課程活動行銷績效。
To enhance the digital course material design skills of our faculty for English-medium instruction (EMI) courses, the university's EMI Center has collaborated with the China Productivity Center to develop and offer a professional training program titled "Canva AI Digital Teaching Material Design." This course integrates visual design with AI-powered tools to strengthen participants' ability to create high-quality, English-language digital teaching materials. The program aims to improve teaching effectiveness, increase student engagement, and enhance the promotional impact of course-related activities.
二、活動特色及執行情形:
本次課程介紹了 Canva 在簡報與設計上的多種實用功能。學員學會在全螢幕播放簡報時使用互動工具,例如螢幕繪圖、投票與線上測驗,提升簡報參與度。課程也教導如何調整版型尺寸、翻譯文字、使用元素圖庫與背景替換技巧,並透過應用程式如 Pixabay 搜尋高品質素材。在圖片與影片編修方面,學員學習了背景去除、邊框調整與貼圖描邊效果。教學亦涵蓋了白板共編、AI 生圖與表情創作的應用,並介紹了影像橡皮擦、版本紀錄與頁碼設定等進階功能,最後以動畫與路徑設定做為視覺強化的結尾,幫助學員全方位掌握 Canva 的操作與應用。
This course introduced a variety of practical Canva features for presentation and design. Participants learned how to use interactive tools—such as screen drawing, polls, and online quizzes—during full-screen presentation mode to enhance audience engagement. The course also covered how to adjust layout sizes, translate text, utilize the elements library, and apply background replacement techniques, as well as how to search for high-quality assets using apps like Pixabay.
In terms of image and video editing, participants explored features such as background removal, border adjustments, and sticker outline effects. The training also included collaborative whiteboard usage, AI-generated images, and emoji creation. Additionally, advanced tools such as the image eraser, version history, and page numbering were introduced. The session concluded with animation and path-setting practices to enhance visual storytelling, helping participants gain a comprehensive understanding of Canva’s functions and applications.
